Vivo X Fold Heavy Configuration Announced

Earlier, vivo officially announced that it would hold a new product launch conference on April 11, and Vivo’s first folding screen flagship – vivo X Fold, will also debut formally.

Today, vivo announced the screen specifications of vivo X Fold for the first time on the official website’s appointment interface, which shows that this folding screen phone is equippe with an E5 material folding screen with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate at the same time. This specification is almost a folding screen—the strongest.

The appointment interface also revealed the whole appearance of this folding screen phone, which shows that the giant folding screen inside will use a punch-hole design, and the front-facing opening is located in the center of the right half.

In addition, the external screen of this phone was also announced. It is equipped with a centrally punched screen and adopts a hyperboloid solution, almost precisely the same as the newly announced large-screen flagship vivo X Note. The curved screen can also effectively improve the touch and operability of the thicker body after folding.

In addition, the sliding physical buttons on the frame of the large-screen flagship vivo X Note are also not absent, which can provide a more convenient ring mode switching operation.

The vivo X Fold is code-named “Butterfly.” It adopts an internal folding scheme and is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor; the screen size is 8.03 inches, the external screen size is 6.5 inches, and the battery capacity is 4600mAh.

In addition, vivo X Fold will use 3D ultrasonic fingerprint elements for the first time, which will bring users a better experience. Unlike the traditional short-focus fingerprint recognition technology, the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition technology can significantly save the internal space of the mobile phone and occupy a minimal volume.
